Hear my prayer Lord above.
Keep my pet safe for me to love .
Make them hearty and hail for me .
No pain or sickness for me to see .
Know I value their companionship too.
My love of them will remain so true .
If you must call them home to you .
Know my heart will be so blue .
May they be kept in your loving embrace .
Till once again we're face to face .
